The Glock hard case and casing envelope share a different serial number. In sum, the handgun itself has one serial number (same number on slide, barrel, and most significantly, the frame). The serial number on the envelope is identical to the serial number on the Glock case's exterior red sticker. However, the serial number on the envelope containing the spent casings is different.
